    Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) Clusters of fragrant white flowers followed by glossy red berries that birds love.
    Wild Privet (Ligustrum vulgare) Semi-evergreen shrub with white flowers and dark berries providing year-round interest.
    Hazel (Corylus avellana) Early yellow catkins for bees and edible hazelnuts in autumn.
    Guelder Rose (Viburnum opulus) White flowers, red berries, and fiery autumn foliage.
    Crab Apple (Malus sylvestris) Blossom for pollinators and fruits for birds and small mammals.
    Dog Rose (Rosa canina) Pink flowers for insects and bright red hips for birds.
