Most orders are dispatched within 3-5 working days when stocks are available. If, for some reason, they are not available at the time of the order, we will notify you, and an alternative delivery date will be discussed.
Our e-Gift Vouchers will be sent via email upon receipt of payment or when scheduled on request.
Shipping is calculated at the checkout, and there will be no delivery fee for an order that exceeds £1500. We ship to the mainland UK and the Isle of Wight (although a £20 handling fee will be incurred in Scotland & some more remote areas). Our orders are generally sent out using a national courier, but we may use our own couriers for local deliveries. Orders can also be collected from the nursery by prior appointment, and we are more than happy for you to do this if you prefer.
There's usually no need to wait for delivery; our couriers will leave it in a safe place for you. If there is somewhere, in particular, you would like it left, then please let us know at the time of ordering.
Non-Standard Delivery Charges
For some areas of the UK, we need to charge slightly more for delivery to cover the additional costs involved, and a handling fee will be added at the checkout.
Due to complications from new customs and plant health controls, we have decided to temporarily suspend taking orders for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. We will continue to review this and hope to resume this service as soon as possible.
In some instances, some of the plants we sell are exceptionally large or heavy - such as the mature willow and poplar, standard fruit trees or large potted plants. For these items, due to the nature of the product, we need to charge extra for shipping and handling to ensure they arrive with you safely and in good condition. These additional charges will be indicated on the product pages.
A pallet may be required for taller plants or a larger volume (particularly root ball trees). We will let you know at the time of your order, as this will usually incur an additional fee. With pallet deliveries, it is preferred that someone is in to accept the delivery as they are often harder to manoeuvre, and the driver will need someone to show him where the pallet can be safely unloaded.
Returns & Replacements
We inspect our plants carefully before dispatch but accept that things may occasionally go wrong. The Goods may be returned if they are not what was ordered, but we ask that you contact us first to discuss and make arrangements (sometimes, due to the live nature of the product, it is not worth the cost of returning the goods).
Complaints regarding the condition of plants must be made immediately to email@example.com. We may require a photograph to be sent to us to verify the condition. We will do our utmost to resolve your complaint, and assuming we agree with you that the plants are not of the appropriate quality, the plants must be returned in their original packaging within 10 days of delivery, at which point we will arrange a replacement or refund you in full. The Goods remain your responsibility until we receive them.
If you accept the plants and do not report a problem with them to us within 10 days of delivery, then we will have no further liability for any failure to flourish.
Prices on the website are displayed including VAT which is detailed at the checkout.
We will charge your payment card upon receipt of your order. We accept no liability if delivery of the Goods is delayed by the supply of incorrect payment details.

Once you have placed an order online with us, you can access your order details by logging in to your account (unless you checked out as a Guest). Simply click on My Account at the top of the page to log in and view your order details.
