The Magnolia' Daybreak' is an award-winning, ornamental tree providing multiple seasons of interest. 
 
This attractive Magnolia displays large, fragrant, creamy, rose-pink flowers in spring, attracting bees, birds and butterflies. The 'Daybreak' has wavy pale green leaves from spring to summer before the leaves fall in autumn, revealing its fissured bark. 
 
Planting Position
This Magnolia 'Daybreak' is a low-maintenance addition, suitable for beds and borders and works excellent in courtyards, cottages, and informal gardens. The Daybreak will do well in sheltered areas, prefers full sun to partial shade, and needs moist but well-drained soil. 
 
Care and Maintenance
The Magnolia requires little maintenance. The shape and size can be controlled by pruning which is best done immediately after flowering or during late summer.
 
Size
After 10 years, the tree can reach a height of 4m with a 3m spread.
