Planting Position
Hybrid Poplars thrive in well-drained soil and adapt well to both exposed and sheltered sites. They flourish in sunny or partially shaded positions, and like willow, they tolerate wetter ground. Plant Spacing
For standard planting: allow 3–4m spacing between trees. For dense screening trees: plant in a double row with 1–2m spacing, staggering trees across the rows for a thick, layered effect.
