Description
Cercis canadensis 'Pink Pom Pom' is a beautiful, slow-growing, large deciduous tree with a rounded form. It produces clusters of stunning double reddish-pink flowers in spring, great for attracting pollinators such as bees, followed by coppery-bronze heart-shaped leaves that mature to a glossy green and turn yellow in autumn.
The Cercis canadensis will develop a more or less rounded form, averaging 4m/13ft tall and 3m/9ft wide (after 10 years), making them great for large or small gardens.
Planting Position
Cercis canadensis 'Pink Pom Pom' prefers well-drained, moist, moderately fertile soil, and full sun will encourage a better show of flowers.
