How to Use After Plant Tree & Shrub
For plants in the ground, apply 1-2 handfuls (25-50g) around the base of the plant. Lightly work it into the soil and water it well. For larger, more established plants, apply 2 handfuls per square metre under the canopy of the plant.
For container plants, apply 2-3 handfuls per plant, twice yearly. You may want to remove approximately 5-10cm of soil from the top of the pot and replace it with fresh compost once a year adding 1-2 handfuls at this stage.
Best applied in spring, at the first signs of growth and again in autumn as a top dressing.
For new plants going in to the ground, it is best to use Rootgrow at the time of planting to ensure that the greatest benefit is gained by getting it in contact with the roots of the plant.
