This dwarf conifer has an upright habit with lemon-scented foliage.
Description
'Wilma' is a small, attractive and narrowly conical tree. Its evergreen foliage is bright yellow-green and a must for any garden needing a burst of beautiful and vibrant year-round colour. It also has the added benefit of a lovely lemon scent which is particulary fragrant when the leaves are crushed. This low maintenance cypress is excellent as specimen or for container growing. It will grow up to approximately 6ft in 10 years.
Planting Position
This hardy tree likes to be planted in full sun or partial shade but sheltered from strong winds. It can tolerate most soils as long as it is moist but well-drained. If using as hedging, plant 60-90cm apart.
Attributes
A slow-growing conifer, it is ideal for Containers but will also make an attractive stand-alone specimen. Wilma is an excellent choice for hedging as it will be become more tolerant of dryer conditions once established.
