The Marsol is a large, architectural tree with glossy, oblong, serrated green leaves.
Planting Position
This Chestnut is a low-maintenance addition, suitable for medium to large-sized gardens and is often planted in hedges and woodland gardens.
The Marsol will do well in exposed and sheltered areas in full sun and well-drained soil.
Aftercare
The Marsol requires little maintenance. However, if necessary, prune dead, diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots during the dormant season. Water only if the compost feels dry.
Size
After 10 years, reaches approximately 5m. Between 20-50 years, the tree can reach a height of 12m with an 8m spread.
