COVID-19 : Questions & Answers

We realise this is a time of great uncertainty for many of us and we're all doing everything we can to get through this time.

Gardening is a wonderful way to pass the time, get out into nature and feel the positivity from the plants. We are, at the moment, still taking orders and will deliver across the country as long as our valuable delivery partners are working. We are continuing to monitor the guidelines and advice from the UK Government and Public Health England and are committed to making the right decisions for our customers.

The majority of our team are now all staying safely at home and we are working on a very reduced staffing level. We have put together a few Q&A for you in case you have en enquiry. If there is anything we haven't covered, please do email us on

Q. Are you still open for business?

A. Our Retail Nursery site in Venn Ottery is closed for the time being due to the current restrictions. However, we are still open as usual for online ordering. We are working hard to try and get as many of our Nursery products up on our website to extend the range available for you so you can carry on gardening.

Q. Are you still taking orders?

A. At this time, we are still taking orders and can deliver across the UK using our fantastic delivery partners.

Q. How does this affect the delivery time for my order?

A. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, delivery times will be longer than normal. The situation is changing all the time but we are currently shipping orders within 21 days. Please bear with us during this time.

Q. Will I need to sign for my delivery?

A. Our delivery partners are operating contact-free deliveries in order to comply with government guidelines and keep us all safe. You will not be asked to sign anything.

Q. Can I collect from the Nursery?

A. Whilst we are closed for browsing and shopping, if you would like to collect from the Nursery, please contact us and we can arrange a contact-free collection by appointment.

Q. How do we contact you if we have a query?
